Excellent job done by Bob and his great team. Thay came up with the solution to my water pooling issue quickley, showed me the reason for the drainage issue & showed up the next day to complete the job.

The two young man team were very professional explained what was being done and cleaned up afterwards. Also Bob stop by on the first day to check on the results of inspection so he as well understood my drainage issue and he confirmed what his team informed me about.

I will use their services again and recommend them to anyone I know or asks me about brainage. Again GREAT job done by the Drainrock Team.

Talk about getting more than you asked for!

We’ve had a water-pooling problem along the side of our house for a few years now, which caused two wooden window wells to rot surprisingly quickly. At first, we thought all we needed was to replace the deteriorating wooden wells with galvanized steel ones.

It turned out that would have solved only half the problem.

Three downspouts serving a large portion of our roof were still dumping a tremendous amount of rainwater right near the window wells. That meant the pooling would continue, with excess water eventually overflowing into the wells.

The Drainrock team came up with a brilliant solution. Instead of simply replacing the window wells, they installed a complete drainage system, including proper piping, elbows and connections, to collect the rainwater from all three downspouts and divert it directly into our sump. They even drilled through the side of the sump wall and connected the new drainage line directly to it.

They also replaced our old wooden window wells with beautiful galvanized steel wells featuring a decorative rock-wall look and sturdy steel covers. Not only do they look fantastic, but they feel like a much more durable and permanent upgrade.

And they didn’t stop there.

While working on the drainage system, they noticed that a large section of the moisture membrane had deteriorated and was literally crumbling apart from years of sun exposure. They replaced that section as well.

Then they discovered something we never would have noticed ourselves: a large, strong tree-root system from a tree growing very close to our house had started working its way toward our basement concrete wall. They carefully removed the invading roots and re-membraned the affected area.

What started as a simple plan to replace two rotten window wells turned into a much more comprehensive solution that addressed the underlying water problem and several potential issues we didn’t even know we had.

We truly appreciate how Drainrock went above and beyond to find the right, long-term solution, rather than simply doing what we initially asked for. Their attention to detail, professionalism and willingness to explain what they found along the way gave us tremendous peace of mind.

Drainrock are true masters of their craft. Drainrock was referred to us by a trusted construction/renovation company who has used them a few times in the past. Bob and Vanessa have a wonderful company. We were first greeted by Vanessa on the phone to book an onsite visit. Bob came out to see what needed to be done and promptly came back with his plan and a quote. He wrote down detailed notes to himself so he'd remember all the intricacies.

We hired Drainrock to do perimeter drainage work. Our home is fully renovated inside and outside, so we only hire companies who have decades of experience, positive reviews, and are referrals. Then their sons Rylan and Justin were the ones on site doing the work. Bob came by to check on progress and was in regular communication. Rylan and Justin treated their onsite workers with great respect, clearly showing their investment in their teams. They also laughed a lot and clearly enjoyed working together.

The project required concrete repair afterwards. It was important that the concrete repair was done well since our home is fully renovated. Drainrock coordinated with a trusted concrete specialist they have worked with for years, this made it easier for homeowners because we didn't have to separately find, hire, and coordinate concrete remediation. In terms of pricing, Drainrock's was fair. We weren't looking for the cheapest, rather what was most important to us was a company who knew what they were doing and prided themselves on quality workmanship.

I was a bit hesitant to hire this company after I heard their ad on the radio. Figured they would be over the top expensive. They were a bit higher priced than a couple of other companies that quoted, but I could tell they really knew their stuff.
